The Scherrhof is located at the heart of Baden-Baden’s municipal forest above the villages of Lichtental and Oberbeuern. It can be reached by car in around 15 minutes from Baden-Baden. Follow the road from Baden-Baden via Oberbeuern to the Rote Lache mountain pass and turn right at the Scherrhof sign shortly before the top of the pass. The access road to the Scherrhof is signposted.
Coming from the village of Forbach, simply follow the signs to the Rote Lache pass and turn left shortly before the highest point (as signposted).
